Darn, there go the hopes that they were finally getting started on that Blame! movie.

Wonder if it'll look kinda 3D cel-shading style like, say, Viewtiful Joe....

Who knows? Nowadays it's getting more difficult to tell apart cell-shaded 3D CG characters from 2D counterpart.
Hmmm...that's a challenge. Hollywood has Pixar, Dreamworks, and others. |

Now that we have an idea how it looks....
Let's see how well short skirts and worm's eye view translates to 3DCG. (After all, there's an "uncanny valley" where these things become awkwardly life-like and uncomfortable and no longer ecchi funny.)
Sounds like a combination of Toy Story and Monsters, Inc and WALL-E. |

That image looks pretty nice, actually; they're getting closer to making anime style designs work in 3D.
And Otsuichi writing is always a good sign. |

hm, sounds promising but we'll see. CG-that-looks-like-CG especially bothers me as far as CG goes but this looks pretty good, if that picture is really any indication.
