You will be missed Toonami, you will definately be missed.
I'll be watching the whole block tonight.

First the the anime on the Adult Swim schedules, and now Toonami. I shouldn't be surprised, but its still highly disappointing. I should have seen it coming once they were reduced to a Saturday only block, and even more so once that block was cut from 4 hours to only 2. I was there to see it on the first day, and I'll be there see it on the last day. Goodbye old friend, you will be missed.

Well it's official Cartoon Network is dead to me. Does this mean the end of Jetstream too?

The day Toonami died was when TOM became the abomination that he is today. At this point, all I can say that nothing of value was lost.

Ever since the new Cartoon Network came on the air, it just hasn't been the same. I remember watching .hack//SIGN and Rurouni Kenshin and others back in the day.

Um... Okay?
They're ending a block, I doubt this means that anime will stop airing on CN altogether, no loss.

Oh wow, even though I don't really watch toonami anymore, it was an important part of my life as an anime fan. I first got into anime because Tenchi Muyo's run back in 2000. It's nothing like it used to be, but the fact that toonami will be gone is sad to me.

True, its just that people have been watching the block since the beginning and do have fond memories for it.
Even so, its not like action shows will disappear from CN. They're launching a new Friday night action block on October 3rd at 8 PM. The lineup for it is Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Secret Saturdays, Ben 10: Alien Force, and eventually Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Its pretty solid and I'll definately be watching it.

After a quick check to the episode list, that episode scheduled on October 4th looks like the 200th episode. It's 198 and 199 airing tonight.
Maybe not a guarantee that it's safe, but I can't imagine it won't finish its run after all this time.

Eh, I just lost interest after the good stuff on there got transfered to Adult Swim or the post 12 am airings on saturday BEFORE AS had a saturday night block. When it stopped showing ZOIDS: chaotic century and .hack//Sign, I knew it was dead.
