Why don't they just push the Canadian date back and make it a double feature? Since something tells me the Canadian release probably isn't going to be in 2008.

My sister is going to be stoked- she's been asking about this since we saw the first one back in May. Very Happy

This may be the beer talking, but my twenty first birthday is now complete.

(It probably isn't the beer though, my last drink was hours ago.)

Ah, an excellent opportunity here. I never was able to see the second movie, so this will be a chance to be able to see it for sure. Hopefully it will be playing in my area.

Wait, the first DVD isn't out in America yet? Us Brits may get screwed over in relation to cinema showings, but at least we get the DVDs quickly.

Hmm, after watching the first half subbed, I should really make an effort to catch one of the theater dates and check it out dubbed.

Definitely going... Can't miss live-action stuff in theaters!

...But I don't have too good of memories of the first screenings of Death Note. I sat in the VERY FRONT because I got there late (That was my fault Anime cry), and I also sat in front of these people who COULD NOT GET OVER the fact that in the original manga there wasn't a girl on the Kira task force, and in the movie there was. EVERY scene she showed up in on the movie screen (And there are quite a few.) they would say stuff like "OMG, get out of here!" "There wasn't a girl on the task force!" Anime cry
And I think that after the first couple times, squealing over how L eats (Although, I have to admit, L's actor does it PERFECTLY.) gets a little old. o_o

...But I will go to this one, earlier, and hopefully in front of some quieter people o_o

Aww, yeah. My weekend has completely turned for the better. I've had to work early shifts at my job and it's had me really stressed. Knowing I'll get to see this movie makes everything that much better.

Seems like I'm driving back to the movie theatre across the river again. <33 yay.
