Not much of a surprise here, when the next volumes come out then that'll be something worth reading about. Can't say I read either of them, but I know it's best to be on the side of the manga industry and hope that the next volumes get up there higher than the last ones.

Unless the upcoming volumes can really make a breakthrough, I'm having doubts about whether or not Fruits Basket can actually break into the top 10 before it runs it's course. There's only three volumes left and the preceding volumes haven't come close to what volume 16 was able to do.
