Wes Borland is going to be taking hide's place at next week's concerts; so perhaps he'll be at this show, too.

Someone else told me that Wes is taking hide's place for a few concerts, but where is everyone finding this info?

You would think that with the abundance of great Japanese guitarists and plenty of other international guitarists to pick from, they could've picked someone a bit better than Wes Borland to fill in for such a big event. Seriously, Limp Bizkit's guitarist is the best they could do? There are just so many other choices that would've obviously been better and more respectable...

Okay, "BOO!" to the dude who didn't know who Wes Borland was, but here's a link to a news clip about who's playing with X Japan. In addition to Wes, it's a cat from Guns 'N' Roses named Richard Fortus (BTW, this isn't the dude named "Bumblefoot." His name is Ron Thal.)
Otherwise, kudos to the guys putting together the Hide memorial show; he was a really good guitarist. I'm still diggin' on the "I.V." video where they just set up his guitar next to a mic. That's super classy. |

I didn't know either, but from the Limp Bizkit I've been forced to hear, I could name any number of better guitarists, unless this guy has gobs of unused talent. What's Buckethead doing that he can't sub in? |

Ugh... what? Why don't they just get one of those clowns from Korn? Anyway, concerts and tributes are spiffy diffy and all, but I want a new album. IV was really good, and shows they haven't missed a beat (not as good as Blue Blood or Jealousy era tunes), so I'd love to hear more. |

Where do you get such tickets for a concert like this? I'm in Japan durning this time and want to purchase tickets. I love TMR and wanted to see him live at least once....can someone show me where I can get info?

At this point, your only hope is probably scalpers. Edit: Oh, I was thinking of the one coming up. For the May concerts, since you won't be in Japan when the tickets go on sale, you'll either need to find somebody to buy them for you, or you'll have to go with Yahoo Auctions. |
