Makes me wonder how Akasaka is going to criticize the industry (again) now that we're in the realm of Live Action. There's no doubt that this adaption will obviously take some liberties, a few that Akasaka wanted and a few he obviously had to concede on, but regardless I'm excited to see how it goes.

Yeah they obviously can't put the leads as talking babies. Then again it's kinda ironic considering the play arc involved the idea or rewritting parts of a manga due to issues with an author. Actually, I think season 2 never gave closure to the play as it suddenly moved to Aqua's original plan

If there's one thing I can say, it at least looks good.

What do you mean? That arc seemed pretty well resolved to me. spoiler[Abiko and GOA came to an agreement on the script, and the cast managed to deliver on it -- with Aqua having the most trouble but figuring out how to channel his trauma in a way that worked for his character. Then, with that settled, the rest of the run went by without any further noteworthy incidents on-stage.]
