I’m glad that you mentioned Rachael’s role in Captain Tylor; it’s one of my favorite roles of hers and not enough people bring it up.
I’m so happy for Tango. I personally hope their next game isn’t released on Xbox. They don’t deserve it. |

I mean even if Microsoft did screw over the studio and staff. That move would essentially be screwing over people who only have an Xbox or are preferable to the system. |

I think turnabout is fair play. People were quick to jump ship on the Wii U because of its shaky prospects (and they were right to do so). The writing is on the wall for Microsoft and the Xbox; if studios don't want to release their games on Xbox, Microsoft can find the reason by looking in a mirror. |

I didn't get into Utena so the non-Pokémon thing I knew Rachael Lillis from was the anime adaptation of Leaf/Aquaplus' Comic Party dating sim where she played the main girl, Mizuki.
I think about Comic Party's premise probably more than I should. |

High School of the Dead and Taimanin is a powerful collab.

Pretty much. Even before getting into financials, why would anyone want to work with a company that shredded its creator base just to pad quarterly fiscal reports? They blew up any remaining trust they might have had and they have no one to blame but themselves. They can live with their monkey's paw situation for the rest of their lives for all I care. Checked out Bakeru which feels a bit simplistic, but I ain't complaining about robot battles and smacking hyottoko mask-wearing doofuses with drums. Also announced today, the upcoming Emio is getting a three part demo before its release. |

It would also be silly to limit your audience and sales given High Fi Rush didn't make back what it needed originally according to Jeff Grubb. Leaving potential sales on the table simply out of spite seems like a fool's move for a precarious game. I doubt they'd actually do that though. Hopefully fans can turn up this time around. |

it's always a sad reminder that High School of The Dead is still popular and relevant enough to get collabs and products to this day,but it will forever remain in cliffhanger... |

I think things can get to a point where the potential sales won't make up for any kind of effort put into porting something to a floundering console. Again, the Wii U got passed over for a lot of games once the writing was on the wall. If Microsoft can make a new console that's worth a damn, sure, port everything onto it... but also, would people really want a game on Xbox when they can just get it off of Steam? If the game is already selling well-enough everywhere else, Microsoft can sit and stew. The matter is nowhere near ripe, though--we can worry about that if and when a new Hi-Fi Rush actually gets made, and even then it all depends on whether or not Microsoft even has a console at that point. |

Not many people bought Hi-Fi Rush, not even when it was released on Playstation, where people supposedly buy games (but apparently not this game)
Most people just played it on Game Pass As for the other IPs, probably those would cost Krafton too much to buy, and/or the costs of development for those IPs would be too much for them if ever they decide to continue So the only thing extra Krafton can afford is Hi-Fi Rush, and since it's a smaller game, it also won't cost them too much to continue development Props to Microsoft for selling Tango and Hi-Fi Rush - they didn't have to do it. MS likely doesn't care too much about Hi-Fi Rush on other platforms because otherwise, (a) they would've kept Tango open in the first place, and (b) they wouldn't have sold Tango to another company (they would've just kept it closed instead) Half Of Tango Gameworks Is Joining Krafton – Because The Other Half Already Found New Jobs

Well with some PC games not being compatible with gamepads that would be a yes for some of us.
Well with it already being established that the Xbox never made them profit. And them utilizing Xbox as a subscription based service built into some devices/digital storefront which they could in theory put on Nintendo & Sony platforms. Next Decade or two is going to look really interesting. |

Interestingly, another reason MS is having difficulty even getting indie games on their system is that the support system is a complete mess. The team behind the indie Metroidvania HAAK explained the reason why they're not doing an XBox Series port is because something as simple as a Partner registration is completely busted. When it takes more than a year to do anything ya just gotta move on: https://x.com/haakgame/status/1824734589719302501?t=n4AqCjrFzy7R3KEo7obC0g&s=19 Remember when XBox was considered the proving grounds for indie games that made legends like Castle Crashers? Boy, have the times changed |

I'm glad to see Rachael Lillis' role as Utena is getting more praise as seems like the Utena dub was trashed for being one of the worst dubs ever for years although I always thought it wasn't that much worse than most other dubs of that era and there were some standout performances in it. It's also sad Utena's Japanese seiyuu passed away too soon from cancer back in 2011.
