40 years ago, the Summer Olympics were held in Los Angeles and Keiko Yamamoto provided the voice of Eagle Sam in a Japanese anime based on that year's Olympic mascot character in an anime that actually started airing over a year before the Summer Olympics themselves were held.

Well since her birthday is August 7, it would be 1940, but yes, you are right that the birth year we listed was off. We took the birth year from what was listed in our own encyclopedia, but neglected to double check that math-wise with Aoni Productions' announcement that she was 83 when she died. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I corrected the article. |
