It'd be nice if 12 parts meant 12 cours/arcs, but it's probably 12 episodes.

Trying to cram 22 volumes into 12 episodes would be a pretty good way to completely fumble this.

I very much doubt they're actually adapting the entire Perfect Origin arc. They're probably going to end right around where the Idol Choujin show up. So about 32-ish chapters, or 4-ish volumes.

Pretty sure it's 12 episodes for a season and they'll do more if it does well.

Has to be split-cour then given Japan will be airing it on a late-night slot so I guess two 24-episode "seasons" are likely.
