Surprised this is on an anime site. Especially. ANN, of all places.

I grew up reading Marvel's TransFormers comics, with Jose as one of their finest artists. He will truly be missed, but always remembered.

I've noticed that news (not just here) tends to prefer to say "dead" or "dies" instead of "passed" or "passes" more often these days. I don't like it. I prefer the latter followed by a more compassionate "It's with a heavy heart we report..." that's how I usually write similar reports on Seibertron (yay for getting a source credit, shames it's under these circumstances), but I'm also work in geriatrics so I'm used to being sensitive about these things.
