My favorites are Dangers in My Heart, Season 2 (although i have to sail the seven seas now to watch it because of Hidive), Classroom of the Elite, Season 3 and i'll check out Solo Leveling, Bucchigiri, Meiji Gekken: 1874, Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable and A Sign of Affection. Also excited about Mappa's upcoming Maboroshi movie on Netflix.

My most anticipated is Solo Leveling. There's been so much hype around from people online and my own brother so I'm pretty excited to see if it lives up to it. I've resisted buying the books every time I've seen them on the store shelves regularly on sale at Target. But that alone is probably a testimony to the book's popularity.

Runner Up is The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic. I'm always down for a good isekai and this one has a pretty intriguing premise about using healing magic to fight, save and protect. Looks like it has a pretty rowdy cast and genuine thoughtful moments if the trailers are anything to go by.

Metallic Rouge wasn't on my radar, but after reading this article it seems to be one to watch.

That Solo Leveling description was so off-base that I genuinely don’t know if Richard was intentionally trying to be misleading to avoid literally any spoilers, or if he just hasn’t read very far into the series at all. Just in case, I’m spoiler-tagging this.

EDIT: Spoiler tags removed. You can't spoiler-tag a whole post without providing at least some context for what's in the post, and there's nothing spoilery about what you said anyway. - Key]

Thought that was a single title at first. Neutral

While there are a couple of sequels out that I'm mildly anticipating, my most-anticipated for the upcoming season is easily Delicious in Dungeon. Long been a fan of the manga and always thought it would adapt well into animated form. A distant second would probably be Gushing Over Magical Girls, which sounds like an amusing concept.

That being said, Metallic Rouge wasn't on my radar before but certainly is now. Damn, that music trailer sells it! Kudos to Nick for linking to it.

My most anticipated is "Dangers in My Heart", second season can cover some cool arcs from the story, which BTW is still going strong in manga, so I hope for 3rd season as well.

Beyond that, I guess Delicious in Dungeon can be good - it's bit boring at first, but despite being food-themed it's proper fantasy adventure. "Gushing Over Magical Girls" will be interesting - I've read the manga and it's crazy horny fetish romp but with actual plot, just imagine characters are older because I'm sure middle school is because of Mahou Shoujo tradition, and doesn't really fit this series that well.

Metallic Rouge sounds interesting. I've rad a bit of Solo Leveling and it's not bad, but too stereotypical for me, like Korean version of shonen.

Mine is definitely The Demon Prince of Momochi House. It's one of my favorite manga.

I'm also watching A Sign of Affection, Fluffy Paradise, Doctor Elise and of course Wonderful Pretty Cure.

Sasaki and Peeps is the one I'm the most curious about how the adaptation will turn out.

I watched the Metallic Rouge YouTube video. Very good animation, good music. Minor complaint, I wish they dispensed with the text. It's....not appealing (a kind way of saying it). Also, one instance, "moment" was spelled as "mement" (2:10).

I one hundred percent agree. There are so many anime that I was excited to watch next season that Metallic Rouge completely fell under my radar too. But after seeing that special music trailer, I'm gonna be watching it day one.

I get the feeling that it's gonna have similar vibes to the series Akudama Drive in the sense that the setting of the world and the badass action are gonna be what first draws you in, but then a few episodes into the story it's gonna be the characters that keep pushing the story forward. I may be wrong, but based on the vibes I got from the music trailer, that's what I feel like the story's gonna be like.

Series I'm looking forward to this season: Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki-kun 2nd Stage, Chained Soldier, Delicious in Dungeon, Mashle Season 2, Blue Exorcist Season 3, Metallic Rouge, Eiichiro Oda's Monsters

Series I might take a look at: The Witch and the Beast, Sengoku Youko, Bang Brave Bang Bravern, 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess, Hokkaido Gals are Super Adorable, Mr. Villain's Day Off, A Sign of Affection, Tales of Wedding Rings.

Series I need to catch-up on before starting: The Dangers in My Heart, and Urusei Yatsura

It's all Metallic Rouge for me. BONES doing their mecha thing for their 25th anniversary? Automatic win.

Looking like a pretty dry season overall. Outside of some sequels and leftovers, almost nothing stands out as something I am actively looking foward to, exceptions being Solo Leveling, Metallic Rouge, Dungeon Meshi, and a Sign of Affection.

I guess my "runner-up" would be Sengoku Youko. After not being able to finish Biscuit Hammer with how poorly produced it was in practically all aspects, I'm still looking foward to experiencing another Mizukami work and actually sticking with it.

Though I'm also partially curious/worried about how production will keep itself together. White Fox is in a weird state where they have a lost of major names in both animation and production staff, and SY will be a consecutive three-cours anime. I know they've been training new animators in Izukogen, but my worry still stands.
