though it might end up like moetan...
(on the plus side they seem to focussing more on the language side of things, this could be VERY funny)

I'm going to have to watch an episode just to see how it is. Be funny if I ended up learning another language through it.

The idea sounds interesting. This is the first time I've heard of something like this. I'm going to check it out.

how do they get people to watch it? simple, just throw in a name like Hirano Aya and people will flock to watch it. i'm a fan of hers and all (like about half of all anime fans in the world), but somehow just putting her in feels like their starting to use her to lure people in their products (which is working by the way). even this news article used keywords like "Haruhi" and "Aya Hirano" in it's description for the front page to grab people's attention...me included *sigh*

I am SO watching this, and writing a book based on what I learned.
Look for 'Japanese as she is Spoke by Doc Tater', coming to a bookstore near you!
