Uzumaki looks phenomenal, Ninja Kamui seems filled with Park's great action coreography, and Grunge... exists.

Remember how FLCL was about learning to grow up and eventually let go of adolescence, lest you become eternally stuck in the past and impotent like Amarao? Just bringing that up for no reason.

My expectations for FLCL were very low after Progressive and Alternative, and this has still managed to fall well below them. Grunge looks like dogshit and the aggressive attempt to market Haruko as the franchise character has only served to dilute her role in every story she's part of. Seeing Amarao too in a worse art style, it's like they're responding to the criticism of the lack of returning characters other than Haruko in previous sequels (which is probably the marketing team's fault, because I remember being pissed that they baited "what happened to Naota" only to never touch upon/mention him in any significant way). But this has the same problem to me as overusing Haruko.
I was optimistic for the sequels when I really had no reason to be, and the result is that I have zero optimism at all for Grunge, or really any further development for FLCL. At least The Pillows still sound great...

Ninja Kamui looks interesting, but I'm more interested in Uzumaki and FLCL. Although the siren sound in the Uzumaki trailer made me twitch and feel quite uncomfortable, I'm hoping that's something I'll be able to somehow tolerate so I can watch this. What we're seeing so far looks VERY good! Definitely worth the wait. FLCL just looks like it'll be fun, although I do hope it'll be better than Alternative. Out of the first two sequels, that one I found myself feeling a bit bored with. It was fine, nothing really bad, just not something I'd put on more than once personally. So far, Grunge looks good with very bright and bouncy animation, and I'm always happy to hear Kari Walhgren as Haruko.

Uzumaki looks like what a true animated manga should look like. Also, is that Shinichiro Miki as the lead?
I'm not sure if CG FLCL is going to appeal to people as well, especially with the reception of the last two entries.
Ninja Kamui looks like a lot of style and maybe not a lot of substance, but that might be enough.

They nailed it perfectly with Uzumaki. The music, sound design, and atmosphere are completely on point.

The article flat out says the theme of Grunge is about adulthood…..

I thought Progressive and Alternative had things to like about them but also both majorly flawed. Progressive kind of just had too much going on and felt like they were trying to juggle both rehashing the original and doing new stuff with it so it just wound up as cluttered and never got to any real point, while Alternative had something interesting going with how different it was and then just kind of completely collapsed in on itself in the last two episodes and ruined the best new character in the process.
Trailer for Grunge doesn't fill me with a super huge amount of confidence but I'll probably still watch it.

FLCL's stylistic choices and writing is terrible. Also, why keep flogging a dead horse?
Lazarus appears to be a reboot of Bebop in a way.
Ninja Kamuy is interesting, somewhat.
Uzumaki seems to be the only show that is unique and going by the trailer looks incredible.
Guess I am pirating them since MAX(?) and Adult Swim are region locked.

Will there be a streaming service that will simulcast Uzumaki for those outside the US?

What on earth is the point of region-locking a TRAILER?

Probably not. C Danchi is still on MAX/Adult Swim and nowhere else.

If they're going to be making more FLCL, the best we can hope for is that it's as different as possible from the original, and preferably anything else.
