Thanks for the interview! So happy to see this story getting more and more popular lately. I ended up with most of the volumes from a humble manga bundle once and I've been obsessed with Masakki Nakayama's work ever since. Its great these are finally physically released in english, I'm excited to scoop these up soon.

I consider Masakki Nakayama to be up there with Junji Ito. One of the best horror mangaka out there. I liked reading about his process for creating his distorted faces.

Oo, I hadn't heard he had been nominated for an Eisner. Good for him!

I really enjoyed reading PTSD Radio after going in blind with the first omnibus (preordered volumes 2 and 3 soon after picking it up too). Hopefully, we'll be getting more of his stuff in English soon.

Wasn’t this the guy whose studio was so haunted that he had to quit drawing this manga?

Congrats to him for the Eisner nom!

Sort of! He details it in PTSD Radio but there was a series of strange events in his previous office that led up to/coincided with a pretty serious health issue.

If I recall, there was a specific related event he mentioned in those author segments that he was "never going to tell anyone about, ever.". Surprised
