A little odd to do a reboot for just the original one-shot, which would act as the first actual chapter of Bastard!! when it got serialized, but at the same time it makes sense, since it can be treated as its own self-contained thing.

My guess is this is a feeler for demand for such. If the reading audience will be willing to accept a new artist to work on the remainder of the series.

I just think that is nothing more than simply a promotional tactic for Season 2 of the anime debuting next month.

So it´s not a return. Lol. It went to shit a dozen volumes before giving out so fine by me.

Moonlight Mile came back after 11 years, with a minimalist art style, so Nana, Vagabond and X are the big ones. Those and Bastard are the best-known manga where the creators walked away deep into the plot but at least Real came back.

I love how it went from Wizard to Bastard. These are the changes I love. Not the "cater to sensitive folk because it will hurt potential sales" changes that happens in this age now.

Damn shame you through out a perfectly good Beet The Vandal Buster like that.
