Hm, sounds like it ended well... I really should pick up the last couple volumes of this series. I think I have up through 14... at least it's done now.

Man, I gotta get this...I feel like I read vol. 16 like half a year ago, and have been waiting for the conclusion ever since.

I saw the raw awhile ago, and since I can read minimal japanese I didn't catch everything that happened. However, it did seem like there was a conclusive, and happy, ending.

About time.

As much as I like (O)AMG!, it's nice to see "closure" of a sort in a relationship for once.

I cannot say enough to fans how much they need to pick up this volume. It was refreshing to have a true real ending. No cliff hanger, no what ifs, everything just wrapped up nicely. The ending I thought was done very well and handled superbly. Everything is resolved and it ends on a very positive and bittersweet note. Which I think is good for a romance. I also think the love scene was handled very well. I do agree with Theron that not having it would have been a disservice. The scene cultivates 17 volumes of emotions and brings it to a head. They're finally allowed to be together in all ways which could not have made for a better ending to the series. Plus despite the fact it is obviously a love scene there is no explicit scenes. There is no explicit pornographic material. You see no more then you've seen in previous volumes. So kudos to them for keeping it tasteful.

More so than any other series, this stretched across high school for me. I can still remeber when I picked up most of the volumes. Number twelve came at an especially low point for me. Kirby Puckett had just died that night, and it was exactly what I needed, some light romantic comedy. I'm not going to lie here, I cried at the end, though not as much as I did for Love Hina. An excellent ending to an outstanding series. I'm just surprised that they didn't have a child by now.
