Yup, I vividly remember the Gollum one from a few days ago.

I would much rather have a game be delayed and in better shape than one broken at launch, so i hope this extra time goes to good use. Have been very much looking forward to this game, as one of the handful of Front Missions that haven't officially been released in English before.

I loved Front Mission 3 on PS1. I was on the Gundam Wing kick at the time which started the mecha obsession.
I remember beyond the model kits there was so little merch to be had back then for all the Toonami shows (even for something big like DBZ, forget about Gundam), like they didn't actually expect any of it to be popular in the US. And none of the games got localized. I remember a friend chipping his PS1 to play a Japanese DBZ game.
I checked out Front Mission for lack of any other fix, and it was a really unique game with the in-game Internet message boards and political intrigue. Definitely want to play the remakes.

Even a game that’s delayed can still be broken once it eventually launches.

Modern gaming is perfectly summed up by walls of text images these days.

If it wasn't for the fact that it seemed like FM2 was already far along into the dev process, I'd be worried this wasn't a signal that it were getting cancelled outright.
I'm not gonna be shocked if this delay is them waiting to see if FM1 sells more to justify remaking FM3. It's a bit of a tinfoil hat sort of a worry, but....
That aside, I'd be interested to see what a FM3 remake would look like with its late 1990's internet pages, especially when FM1 kinda looks a bit messed up with its art direction. FM2 seems to be shaping up to be a pretty good visual translation of the original though.

Of course, but now there's less of a chance of that happening.
