Can we still consider certain games to be horrible even without the spin input like Mecha Marathon, Toad In The Box, Crane Game (brought over from MP1), Filet Relay, & Day At The Races?

They've always been hit or miss when it comes to the controls

The issue with these minigames in particular is their mechanics/design not their controls.
Filet Relay for example is damn near impossible if you’re playing against the handicap since if you’re not leading or you bump the walls you’re screwed. But Mecha Marathon and it’s dual press setup is the worse bar none.

I'm personally a fan of the puzzle type games that are available. Tetris, Puyo Puyo, Panel de Pon, Dr. Mario, Magical Drop, Columns, Picross, and so on.
(And if you make a Japanese account, you can also play Kirby Star Stacker on the Super Famicom, which is a fun one.)

Mecha Marathon is the absolute WORST mini game I've played in the series, so far. I can never seem to beat it and I don't how on earth you're supposed to do it right or how fast you need to be.
I've never been able to beat the Mini Game Coaster in MP 2 because of this. Just so needlessly frustrating.

The Oracle games are some of my most favourite games ever. I've played them so many times. The password feature was so great. I really need to play them again...
Minish cap was fun but Oracle (and Link's Awakening) are up there for best Zelda games for me.

First off, what the hell? no love for the original Pokemon SNAP? I never completed it as a kid, and i couldn't find an emulator that worked for it. I felt like i was finally able to complete a piece of my childhood.
Second, I am actually kind of disappointed in their pokemon releases. I mean both stadiums are confirmed but not only are none of the original colors confirmed yet(i believe), but they went out of their way to say that both stadiums will not allow transfers which seemed so absolutely mental to me since I'm pretty sure you can do that on the emulators. Imagine a world where you could transfer a red/blue save file, then do gen 1 competitive battles against anyone on the original stadium setting and not on something like Showdown.(This also assumes they add a function for online play with randoms.) I think that would actually make nintendo switch online worth it.
Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant, I just can't believe they either couldn't or wouldn't make transfers work.

I feel like Adventures of Lolo deserves a shoutout.

Super Metroid still is to this very day my favorite game in general terms.
It's amazing how it still holds tight as a nearly flawless pillar even compared to any other metroidvanias nearly 30 years later.

Gamefreak can’t even fix a problem on the 3DS Pokémon games I don’t think they’re thinking about how to reimplement a feature for the rerelease of two games that are 22 & 23 years old.
