That leaves Tomo-chan and Buddy Daddies as the only Aniplex shows from this season that are still in the "safe zone". Let's see how long it will last.

Not sure about Buddy Daddies, but Tomo-chan has already been fully produced, which is how it has a same day simuldub. So that at least won't get delayed.

I read somewhere that a delay was going to happen due to Covid-19 so this doesn't surprise me.

Is there any show aniplex has not outsourced by now? cause that seems to the main reason for the delays due to covid surges in other outsourced nations/

Your productions need to be well planned, managed and scheduled in order to avoid that. Something Aniplex seems to be against apparently.

I guess not even Anos Voldigoad could overcome production issues.

i saw on some news that its not really the case of the delays, its more on the remote work of the studio hiring people outside. that if someone got sick the production takes a hit.

It is still not a bad as peak Corona time was, during that time there was a delay announcement every day or so.

Depends on how you view it. Delays during the covid outbreak were reasonable as the world was scrambling for drastic changes to keep people safe. Those delays were in part because of the struggle to move everyone to remote work with little notice in addition to people getting sick. Utterly failing 3 years later with all we know now sure sounds a hell of a lot worse.
