Oh man, there's so much to unpack here! Shocked

Like is this the first Precure to legitimately have a blue lead focus?!
It is rather amusing the character designer is the same one who did Love Live Superstar though it looks more like Aikatsu (granted I heard he's a super fan for Aikatsu).
I kind of like the "hero" motif as part of the premise. As an anniversary season, I really hope it will feel like a celebration of everything that came before. I mean, anything is a step up from Happiness Charge. Surprised

It's not like CR is going to skip this anniversary season because it would be a crime to do so. The whole blue Cure being the protagonist instead of pink is a nice change of pace.

I hope so since Happiness Charge was an lackluster anniversary season for me. Hugtto! was a bit better than that one.

I just wish Muse Asia or Ani-One do license this in SEA too, just to break the curse Hasbro placed upon all of Toei's show since forever.

If Crunchyroll does not get us this by the time Delicious Party Precure ends, Toei animation and Crunchyroll will Both Be reported to the better business bureau

Still, I sometimes don't understand why Toei or Crunchyroll wait until the very last minute to get any future PreCure series/seasons.

Probably because they couldn't care less about the property internationally. See also: how much progress they've made on distributing other pre-Healin Good seasons since KiraKira. Or the quality of the translations they do put on CR.

It's not even only that the blue is (seemingly) the main one, but even the second Precure one is more of a white than a pink one, since Cure Butterfly is a lot more pink-like.

Yeah he has a secondary account dedicated to Aikatsu and has released several fanbooks for the series. The "antagonists" in super star already looked super much like Aikatsu characters, same for the original char designs but all of them got heavily corrected by Murota to look more like the general Love Live character looks like which sucks cs his (Saitou's) own style got lost with it so I'm really just grateful he gets to shine doing precure aikatsu designs now.

I like the change of Precure protags, we get both a Precure from another planet and a blue one instead of pink, on top of the possible idol themes
