One mistake I made about predicting post-pandemic era is that vtuber growth would cool down to a degree.

Honestly, vtubers been steadily growing since 2019, 2020 just accelerated the growth to where it is now due to the pandemic. The fact that vtubers have always been popular in Japan even before the pandemic probably helps that case. The growth probably won't slow down for a while either way haha. |

Huge mood, I remember my dumbass thinking Vtubers as a whole would die off as of 2021 cos we'd magically be past the pandemic, and everyone would return to work aka not have time to watch them anymore. Now I'm full time employed and just listen to them while at work even lmfao |

It would interesting if there's any data, but many in the vtuber audience have watched less, substantially less or completely stopped watching anime. |
