Is Netflix still only sitting at episode 7?

Hopefully this anime finishes sometime before an entire year goes by. They need to start mandatory covid testing daily at the studio or something. They must have a covid producing machine hidden in the animation room or something.

Curious how this is the only anime still affected by Covid in 2022, isn't it?

Its not Atelier Pontdarc that has COVID, its the studios in China where the work is outsourced that is having labor shortage (because Chinese government fucked up with their zero COVID policy). Expect quite a chunk of Winter 2023 anime to get delays. |

How convenient to blame all the production issues the show has had since the beginning on Covid. Typical poor management.

Somehow I'm not surprised.
Although Netflix still hasn't released any further episodes like they've forgotten about the show, so I guess there's no rush... |

This could have been one of the top shows of the season, but then all this happened. At least the newer episodes are available on the seven seas. And they're pretty good and fun.

i live Ina. third world country and do work that can be done in a computer at home ; oncetje vaccines set in COVID has become a non issue, even when we catch it ,we just keep working at home, nothing is affected, at worse someone takes 9ne or two days off if that person gets hit particularly bad. |

The the people making the bulk of the episode, aka China, is getting Covid at a rate of 2% of the population a day, yeah. |

I'm not even talking about the inbetween outsourcing to China. It's a well known fact at this point that this show's management is a shitfest behind the scenes. The covid challenges are real but there's no excuse for not factoring it in when planning your schedules and timelines at this point. Covid sucks and is unpredictable but if you don't have a backup plan 3 years into the pandemic... |

Fact? All I have ever seen is fan speculation. Is there anything verifiable? I recall last time this came up it turned out the source twitters where just saying: "Yep their main studio got problems with covid". |
