Considering this is Aniplex, I don't foresee this selling for anything less than $499.99

Thank The Goddess for Crunchyroll.

Funiroll ended up doing a standard edition release for the first season for actual reasonable prices, so hopefully this season does the same.

$140! Even I'm surprised lmao, but aniplex pricing has gotten a bit better across the board. The original Fate box sets were a huge investment, but the re-release complete box sets cut the price by more than half. Still over $150 when I got them, I believe, but better than the over $300 for the two original sets.

I wish Aniplex would do the same for their other shows, like AnoHana, Magia Record, or even Sword Art Online.

Or Funiroll could release normal versions of all of their titles because there is literally no reason for AoA to exist as a separate entity anymore.

I still stand by my original statement, but yeah I'm surprised as well. Still, if I were to pay that much I'd much rather get three times the content and pick up the Gundam SEED or SEED Destiny Ultra sets for around the same price.

Aniplex probably has caught on that $500 pack isn't selling very well.

It only took them what... ten years... probably would have had Sword Art Online in my collection if they didn't have overinflated prices.
