God Armed Fantasia looks so cool from the screenshots. I'm not too familiar with the Shadow Hearts series but I've been meaning to get into it.

Damn. They're definitely Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts in all but name. I know that times are hard, but I really hope the Kickstarter is successful.

A kickstarter for the spiritual successors of two of my all time favorite JRPG franchises? Shut up and take my money. I'd honestly been wondering why we hadn't seen a new Wild Arms game in awhile. Shadow Hearts didn't get nearly the love it deserved when it first came out due to being overshadowed by FFX, but the franchise always delivered a good time with its quirky characters, Lovecraftian settings, and engaging battle system. Hopefully they reach their goals, because I would love to see these games.

Yeah its one of the many titles like Legend of Dragoon on the PS1 that became more of a cult hit long after its release. I to got indroduced to the series much later, not when the actual games came out beacuse like most fans at the time, i was far to invested in Final Fantasy, Tales of, Kingdom hearts, Persona 3 and other popular franchises at the time.

I've been burned by Kickstarter before, and the fact that this is a 2-in-1 makes me a bit concerned.

Regardless of that though, I would literally sell my left kidney if it meant even potentially seeing a Shadow Hearts successor, so I'll definitely be pledging as soon as the page goes live. Here's hoping it all goes well.

It is a bit odd they're being lumped together. But luckily I enjoy both series, as I think most RPG fans do. So I'll allow it.

Coming off the canceled Sol Press projects, I think I'll pass this time. Granted, I've played Wild Arms (except the last two installments), and while it is a charming game series, if it was a movie, it would be B-tier, below the real heavy hitters.

Now if the creators behind Skies of Arcadia announced they'd plan an expy project, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat...

I'm gonna be honest, I never got into the Wild Arms franchise (it looks cool, I simply never had any of the games growing up) but Shadow Hearts is one of my favorite game series of all time and I honestly thought everyone had forgotten about it! I am totally on board.

(That said, I know that Wild Arms is by far the more popular of the two, so if Shadow Hearts needs to ride its coattails to get its successor funded, I'm cool with that.)

Man, Wild Arms was my jam back in the day. I can still hum the themesong from the first game.

Well, hitting their initial goal within one day is a good sign, anyway. I'd love to see a resurgence of turn based JRPGs, even if they need to be crowdfunded.

I’m really glad to see there’re quite a few Shadow Hearts fans here! It’s one of my all-time fave game series. 4 games (including Koudelka) is impressive considering how niche the series was but I’ve always been hungry for more so I’ll gobble up anything that’s like Shadow Hearts. I really hope the Kickstarter’s successful, both games look great.
