Powerful demon general Kilmaria is missing an arm in the middle picture.

EDIT: It's Asahi's sister Maya Ikusaba not the general... Sorry, that's a mistake on my part.

huh... ANN took the art from the official website, and as of the time I am posting this, it's like that there too. https://natalie.mu/comic/gallery/news/489018/1876194

Now I'm curious, is this an error in the original art? An accidental spoiler foretelling a future injury or secret? I guess we'll have to find out.

EDIT: Though just a note I realized now, the demon general is the art in the article below the pic you showed actually, the art missing an arm is of Asahi's sister Maya Ikusaba. Doesn't answer why it's missing an arm though.

Sometimes character designs in profile remove the arm on the side facing the viewer so as to show off the costume design better. Strange that it would only apply to the sister, but I don't see any problem with it otherwise.

First time I ever see it depicted like this though. You may not see a problem with it but for the rest of us, it looks creepy.

Eh, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who isn't disturbed by it.

What other series have the character design models depicted like this?

That's not my point. My point is, regardless of whether or not there are "other series", assuming I'm the only one who isn't disturbed by this take on character design models is not just a clear underestimation of how much people care about that sort of thing, but an attack towards me specifically for not viewing things the way that you do.

But you've also stated in an earlier post that this is something that happens in the industry sometimes, which I find puzzling as I never seen side views of characters depicted like this as some kind of unwritten standard. That's why I asked what other studios show this as an example.

You're right, I did. But I can't really point at specific examples off the top of my head. I definitely remember seeing designs like this before, with the side profile view sans arm, but only to the degree of that being something I saw, nothing about the source origin of the characters it was done in reference to. For all I know, the character sheets I saw it done for weren't even for anime, just an unrelated artist's OCs, and per your reaction, One-Hit Kill Sister could be the very first case of an anime actually pulling that design quirk. But until I can track down where I saw it the first few times, I can't say for certain where this view of mine came from, let alone what other anime if any support it.
