This feels like such a weird announcement when the last season of Seven Deadly Sins was so obviously rushed to the point that it's become the meme for bad animation.

I really hope that whatever studio gets this, that it isn't Studio Deen again.

I find it funny that the franchise was originally sold off by A-1 Pictures because they considered it dead cause the first movie they did bombed

Yet its still chugging along

The Irony is that they tried to make a stand alone project for a series that clearly has an overarching plot. It failed as it was unnecessary. the manga itself has sold very well and the sequel as well it is their loss for trying to get more than it would off by being greedy.

Just when is it going to air, anyway? We barely have over 60 chapters of it.

Considering the last two seasons of NnT were probably the worst shonen adaptation ever, not really holding my breath for this, but who knows.

I believe The Promised Neverland Season 2 and Berserk (2016) are worse.

In what universe is Berserk a shonen?

In a universe where every anime is.
I actually didn't know it was seinen though.

I too agree that TPN S2 is the absolute WORST shonen adaptation I have ever seen in my entire life watching anime. It was that bad...

I haven't actually watched this series but was thinking of giving it a look. So I guess I should stick to the manga, then?

(As for bad shonen adaptations, could it possibly be worse than Promised Neverland 2?)
