I find the idea of a world without the concepts of god and religion far fetched since early civilizations and religion have been together for a long time as it help people who didn't know about science yet explain things to them the didn't understand like thunder, comets or why grains fermented into beer.

The concept of "religion without a god" in a certain country is not really far-fetched though - think Confucianism or other ancient Chinese philosophy schools (Mohism, Legalism). You just put the explanations of all that things as the will of universe itself, without the gods as a medium. But it's not the actual case in this story, cause it's not an actual isekai - this world is the remnants of an ancient civilization with advanced technology which is actually a distant future of our world, and the current society is built based on eugenics, artificial population control and ideology cleansing - so it's more like Imperial Cult from Warhammer without technological aspect.

On the cover? Yep, it is an over-1000-year-old loli. And yes, manga also has a lot of ecchi, though it not comes from only her.

Very nice. I hope it's not the trashy kind of edgy ecchi.

She looks like a god, and the guy down below must by the cult leader's son, who is being punished for the sins of the father.

I wonder if there isn't another option for the protagonist? seriously I think I've never seen a guy who wasn't the typical guy with short black hair.

Ok, now that makes more sense. I wonder why synopsis didn't say " society abandoned religion a long time ago, embrace atheism and logic before the MC came along and brought religion back to the curious masses", unless it's an important plot point.
Since you mentioned the Imperial Cult from Warhammer 40k, I wonder if the MC bringing religion might bring a good or bad thing since in 40k, The Emperor of Mankind eradicated all religions during his crusade to unite mankind under his arrogant belief that religious beliefs help power the Gods of Chaos. However, this made things worse since the Gods of Chaos actually got their power from human emotions and religion actually help prevent the Chaos Gods gaining more power, thus the Emperor ironically made the Chaos Gods more powerful. And in a cruel twist of irony, after being injured and forced into a life support system called the Golden Throne, the Atheist Emperor was worship as a God by his followers and their faith in him is actually a powerful weapon against Chaos.

That's because the synopsis only uses the plot of the first chapter of manga, so it's easy to think of the story as your typical isekai tensei material - because there is nothing that seems out of the ordinary in the beginning. And it's not really like "society abandoned the religion", it just really most of the current humanity literally doesn't know what the "religion" is just as it says - because only the Empire higher-ups actually know the truth about the world, but hiding the most of the knowledge of the past civilization and enforced the very strict laws to control the masses instead, while throwing them to the Middle Age levels of technological advancement.

Ironically, that's one of the main plot questions - but even without MC getting in with him establishing a "cult" the Empire is already on the state of collapse, because most of the higher-ups already have doubts with the current order of things.
