Hot damn, that promo pic is definitely doing the game justice, and I normally dislike modern anime backgrounds. Hopefully the series itself can live up to my expectations.

I wouldn't mind the show taking the same approach to backgrounds that Hakumei and Mikochi, as that is somewhat close in style to the PS1 backgrounds.

I will never understand why this game got both an anime and a manga (by the Kingdom Hearts mangaka). The bare-bones story is rubbish and the game remains obscure even after the remaster. Adapt Trials of Mana if anything but none of the games are suited for adaptations.

Legend would work perfectly as an episodic show.

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the new opening's anime art style, but I am curious how this would turn out.
