It's interesting how the short mixes character designs from the anime and the somewhat different designs used by the manga --- I think it is especially pronounced in the bit with Senjougahara at the end.
The manga is quite good. Well worth a look. |

Because I have only watched the anime I have always wondered how much of the show is Akiyuki Shimbo and how much is Nisioisin... the designs don't seem much different either... want to read the manga next.

Same here. By the end I was thinking "I want to watch the anime again". Interesting to see the mix of Shaft style and Oh! Great style. Sometimes it looked really different and sometimes it was just the original anime again lol senjougahara's tits were lol |

The manga is awesome. It's obviously different from the anime, but it retains the same weird Nisioisin feel. Oh! Great's art and personal interpretation for the story work really well with it.

Unnecessary or not, they could actually announce the whole adaptation of that manga version.
Myself, I really wish we got an arc with Meme, in similar way that Kaiki got one. |
