Not sure I like the change. It resembles an acryl stand so closely now I can only tell it's a figure from either specific angles or her boots. While there are figures that can definitely benefit from touch-ups to more closely resemble the characters they are based on, changes this extreme diminish what makes sculpting a unique art form IMO.
