I thought it had ended already and they were just going to release an epilogue of "____ years later" volume.

18 volumes is pretty good for a pure Harem romcom.

I have a number of the volumes because I’m a fan of LLO’s art and so I get notifications on BookWalker whenever a new volumes comes up and will confess it is still always a surprise.

—edit—

Oh, and if any independent verification is warranted, BW has tagged the series as Complete also.

Re: LLO's art. All I remember about this series is that the character designs were interestingly different (oh, Unbreakable Machine Doll too, I see --- makes sense).

I realize that the anime's character designer was a different person (Otsuka Mai), but character designers try to preserve original designs from the source material as much as they can.

I didn't know this is still on-going. I think I remember reading this waaaaay back in the Baka-Tsuki era, and then watching the anime in which I only really remember the opening to, which was pretty good and I still listen to it from time to time.

The main thing that kept me watching, I think, was the OP.
The thing I remember most fondly otherwise was tsunko dereko

I enjoy the series, was always sad to never find out what happened after in the source material. Still, a decade of publishing huh? Not bad at all.

I remember this as the anime that ruined my ability to watch harem comedies for years. Remember kids, the girl who goes furthest in making the guy's life a living hell is the winner!

I'm amazed this hasn't finished. I really enjoyed the anime. This series was definitely something else.

(I dunno about you guys, but I loved the ED much more than the OP.)

I just hope it's not open ended. 18 volumes for "Who the f- knows?" is staright up treachery.
Though it seems there can be multiple routes. Whatever it may be, I just hope Masuzu wins.
Amen.

It’s super rare for the animation character designer to be the same person who did the original character designs of an adapted work. Mahouka is the only example that immediately comes to mind. Even some original anime have two separate character designers.
