Looks like they're re-imagining it again, down to a whole new cast.

Still surprised this is heading to Disney+.

What the change of cast?

Kana Hanazawa is no longer marketable?

Interested in seeing what they'll do with it. My experience with the last iterations were, errrm, rocky, let's say, so a fresh start sounds good to me.

The writing credits are also reminding me of how weird it is those damn Psycho Pass movies STILL aren't licensed for NA...I guess the UK finally got it on disc recently?

Not the first time. Kana wasn't BRS in the PSP game either; that was Maaya Sakamoto.

It feels so weird to see BRS back in action after the whole franchise fizzled out all those years ago.
Not a fan of what they've done to her hair though. Or of what they've done to Dead Master, I thought she was a brand new character.

Probably because of the whole change in universe. The previous anime probably only repeated voices because it was a reprise of the OVA.
If they adapted Innocent Soul or the gacha or something, they'd probably change the cast again.

The PV looks far more promising than the (IMO) awful TV series.

Well, I have my assumption that Funimation will grab up those movies here in NA, as well as the series from A-Prime when they're able to (I believe it's three or four years)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one! I'm not really vibing with her new design, honestly.

I'm gonna miss Hanazawa as BRS, and while I don't dislike Ishikawa as a seiyuu in general I'm not enjoying what I'm hearing in the trailer either...

Not having much hope on this new project to be honest. I would love to see an adaptation of the game someday, though.
