I'd rather they get some of the 4c staff, since they can animate better than Arias can direct.

Have they announced a screening of Tekkonkinkreet yet? I'd really like to see that film, seeing as how I missed my chance last month. And yes I'd like to see some of the staff from studio 4c as well as Mr. Arias. |

Ha, I knew there was going to be a comment like this. But hopefully he'll answer some questions about being a foreigner in the anime industry. |

There's a horribly pompus review on AnimationInsider or what not decrying Arias as a disrespectful so and so for even CONSIDERING directing an Anime and then chocking it up with all kinds of BLAHBLAH JAPAN BLAH JAPANESE SPIRIT nonsense.
He then later came and answered a whole bunch of questions, which is really something. Sure, he's not Japanese, he may not even be a paticularly good director, from what I've heard. BUt he still directed it, he still has a whole bunch of talent, because I trust studio 4c not to pick a lemon (atleast, not entirely a lemon). The fact that he's so willing to answer questions from just about anyone is really great. |

Jan Scott-Frazier had already directed an anime ep or two a decade ago, though not a feature film.
