I've really been wanting these original light novels released in English for years, but I suppose an anime is the next best thing. Still hoping for the license though.

This sounds fun, although is there any romance?

I've only read the manga so take this with a grain of salt: generally speaking? No, there isn't. There are several female characters who are interested in the mc to varying degrees, but oblivious mc is largely oblivious. I don't expect most of it to go anywhere.

Webnovel and manga version reader here.

What @Toloran said, plus one of the female characters comes off as way too strong and annoying for the MC to handle.

In addition, the story structure is not interested in romance; its mainly an action-comedy series.

In fact, Vol 12 is the last volume of the published light novel version.
The original webnovel is still an ongoing work, although the author (for some reason) decided to end the LN version earlier by writing in a novel-original conclusion for the published version.

I'm not up to date on the manga, but I did enjoy what I read and like the way original they use healing magic here. Looking forward to seeing this one Anime smile

This one has been pretty good to read, and the training to use the healing magic is original if nothing else. This should be a good watch.
