Madhouse worked on the animation production of the first movie also.

The designs of these "iron horses" look pretty cool. After checking out Tetsuro Kasahara's website, it got me interested in the RideBack manga; loved the guy's drawings and color. Hopefully, an eventual anime license will encourage one of our dozen (?) or so manga publishers to bring it over.

I really enjoy the manga; more about political unrest than about the mecha, but the girl riding the rideback mecha ends up becoming a symbol of the resistance movement.
Hope Madhouse gives this to the A-staff...

Well with Madhouse current track record looks like I am going to have to check this out when I do get a chance. Something about Robots and girls that want to liberate people....
