Sounds good so far, but I'm obviously still going to be cautious. I'll need to see a lot more before I'll take the risk in buying the game.

I appreciate that it looks and feels like a Tales game, but I'm still going to find it difficult to fully enjoy without the cooperative multiplayer aspect. I've been playing these games with friends and family for so long that it's basically a requisite part of the experience, and it just doesn't feel right to have one person play while the rest watch. We're all kinda disappointed at the prospect of Arise being the new Legendia.

I find this news to be definitely welcomed. I like having more broad spectrum RPG's that have different flares to them. On the flip side, sometimes I just want a JRPG with that classic look to it. They were always a more distinct look and feel. Funny thing is I've been playing some Tales of Xillia lately.

It looks good. I've seen enough people whose opinions I typically agree with say that it feels fun to play. So I'm looking forward to it, definitely. Still not preordering or anything- I've learned that lesson.

Tentatively excited, though we've had Tales games with strong starts and bad finishes before (Zestiria, anyone?) so I'll withhold judgment until it actually comes out. It's a Tales game, though, so I'll get it even if it's terrible, but at least tempering my expectations early will help keep any disappointments to the minimum.

Sounds great, I like that you can pull in the reserves on the bench for support without having to switch them in (if that's even possible).

Probably going to wait till I have a PS5 for this though. Even with a PS4 version this looks like it'd be best played there

I've only played a few Tales games, but Arise looks like fun. Out of what I've played so far, my favorite is Xillia.
