I become a illustrator because of you. Your storytelling matched how amazing of an artist you were. I'm a loss for words I wish this was fake.
I love you, Miura. Please, rest in pease. We will never see a series like Berserk ever again. You created something so special.

I had a feeling for years that Berserk would be left unfinished but even so DAMN IT, HE SHOULDN'T HAVE DIED THIS YOUNG! This is a true twist of cruel fate.

This is legit? I know people used to joke about it because of how the manga was on hiatus but wow rest in peace.

I was never fully caught up with Berserk nor did I necessarily consider it my #1 favorite thing of all time, but I did always appreciate Miura's creative voice and skill. His absence will really be felt in the manga world.
My condolences to his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.

Like everyone, I'm in complete shock. 54 is way too young His series will still inspire others in the years to come.

This one's gonna hurt for a long time. His work has been so formative for so many people across 5 different decades.

This hurts. I saw the news spreading around and I got the same dread as I did when I found out about KyoAni. I don't really have words or emotions, even.
RIP Kentaro Miura. A GOAT of manga, who has given us all something we'll never forget.

Berserk was without a doubt the best manga I've ever read. I'm heartbroken it may never see it's end.
Rest in peace Miura.
