I will never forget the morning I was on YouTube checking my front page. I was a senior in high school at the time, and was planning to go to Tokyo with my family as a graduation trip. My dad was in Macau on a business trip that day, and said "the Japanese government is telling foreign visitors not to visit their country." You could tell this was serious, and totally scrapped our plans; especially due to the nuclear power plant in Fukushima close to melting down. I eventually was able to go to Tokyo in January of last year on my way to my dad's reunion at International School Manila.

My main memory of this is that an awesome Japanese culture/entertainment blog I followed, "Pink Tentacle" stopped posting a month or so after the disaster. Over the last decade to now, I and other fans have continually posted hopeful wishes in the comments of the last post. Crying or Very sad

There are no subs with this(yet), but the story itself is easy to follow.

A sweet story.

But the animation quality is a different story...

I have never been to Japan at all even before the Great East Japan Earthquake struck 10 years ago.

But I'll never forget the afternoon where I found out about it upon watching some footage of tsunami waves on a televised breaking news report.

As for my thoughts on the anime short, the animation quality is completely something else.
