Woah nelly. Turns out that letting fans fund a new season directly is even more effective than making them buy the Blu-ray sets. Combined with the other recent news about that anime crowdfunding platform, it's making me optimistic that we'll see more stories like this in the future.

Great news, I really liked the first two seasons.
Seems like this is going to be the way to get new seasons of anime that otherwise wouldn't be greenlit, seeing as it didn't even took them 2 days to reach the goal. Now if just somebody would do a kickstarter for some older anime that never got a 2nd (or 3rd) season... *cough Oda Nobuna |
