I can't believe this is still going.
To me this feels like one of those tier 2 WSJ classic shonens like World Trigger or Toriko, where the shows themselves are pretty entertaining and they were pushing them into making them new mainstream long-runners, but they never really catched on as well as for example naruto or bleach and failed to become widespread hits. Was kinda expecting it to end or pause at around 50-100 eps. Like even Fairy Tail had to pause and switch to a season approach after it became really close to the manga and was forced into longer and longer filler arcs. I'm really curious about how long the Black Clover anime will be able to go on. I don't know how filler-heavy the anime currently is, but with only 25 volumes so far, I assume it must be close to the manga (unless the anime's going at a really slow pace). |
