I have only known her as the Narrator for Princess Tutu, but that was a pretty memorable part for me. Besides narrating the little opening segment, she also did the "mid-episode" previews for the two-parter episodes in the TV broadcast version (which can be seen on the extras in the ADV release). She did them all in a consistent style that works well. It is sad news that she has passed away. Sad

I saw her in "Woman in the Dunes" a interesting and rather disturbing movie. She play a difficult role very well. She will be missed.

How odd, I'm just reading the strip that the Moomin show was based on. Haven't seen it but my condolences to her family.

Wow, Suna no Onna is dead. What a great movie. Someday I have to go back and see something other than a crappy VHS copy.
