All right, Shin Mazinger! Everybody, go watch it. Yasuhiro Imagawa is brilliant.

Looking good, still. I'm surprised but happy how fast they keep adding stuff after launching so recently. Great job!

Nice to have True Tears back, considering it was unavailable for years after Bandai pulled out of the North American market. It's one of the better looking shows from the peak of the moé drama period, coming out around the same time as series like ef - a tale of … and Clannad. Also the first P.A. Works show, I believe. Was a bit of a weird pickup when Discoteck got it, but who's complaining?

FWIW, I used the because.moe anime stream search engine to look to see where True Tears might already be streaming (Crunchyroll, VRV, and Amazon Prime), and it made me realize because.moe doesn't include Anime Crush titles. Maybe Anime Crush doesn't have a web API that because.moe can search? Hopefully those two will work it out.

Oh cool! I've heard great things about Saiunkoku, and I've been wanting to watch it for a while. Now I have an excuse to do so!

The question about Saiunkoku is whether they just have the first series or if they also have the second. The latter case would be a much bigger deal, as the second series was never released in the States.

Even if they only have the first, it's a series well-worthy of greater exposure. It's the only shojo series that's in my regular-rewatch rotation, in part because Shurei is one of the all-time-great anime heroines. Also has one of the truly great openers.

There are a few other potentially interesting options here, though. Always nice to see some random older stuff pop up.

It'd be helpful if there was a momentary mention of the limited regions this service is legally available in. Or, why show me this article when I've chosen a non-US ANN site??

I’m super excited about Saiunkoku. I hope they have the second season too as that has been on my “to watch list” for over a decade. I picked up the first season when it first came out and enjoyed the hell out of it. I always refer to the series as having “the mind of Twelve Kingdoms and the body of Fushigi Yuugi.” Does anyone remember that the first disc was released in that extremely cheap black “box” with the red tissue paper? I threw it away. Rough times, that was. One of the last things Geneon released.

Can the filters of this site place work for once or was this incorrectly labelled? I was excited to see about Saiunkoku but when going to RetroCrush's website you can only watch things on their website if you are from the USA or Canada. ANN edition is set to Australia and New Zealand so why is this article showing up?

My little, black, Saiunkoku box (I'm not sure why you use quotation marks there, since it is a box.) is sitting near my tv, bookending a couple of the GKids Ghibli collector's/anniversary editions opposite my RightStuf Utena Blu-ray box. It may have been cheap, but at least it wasn't the usual artboxes that waste so much more space. I'm not sure if my dvds are residing in it, or not; I haven't looked inside it for a long time. :)
