Holy moly.......I might have to start the manga then since Shueisha has lots of faith in this series (or are the arcs so long that it is impossible to tell a complete story in a single cour?)

Probably both mixed in with the fact that madhouse almost never does second seasons.
I'm really enjoying the show even after just one episode too.

This meme is really outdated and misinformed. Please stop spreading it around. Studios don't really get to choose which shows get sequels or not.
Also, they've done plenty: Black Lagoon, Overlord, Chihayafuru, Hajime no Ippo

Really liked the first episode, it's exactly my kind of show
Might hold off on watching more until the simuldub hits though, it seems like the kind of show a well scripted dub could go a long way towards. The sub script is a bit dry for my taste.

I think it is a split cour, based on the Blu-ray release date for episodes 13 to 24. Can someone confirm whether it's a split cour or not?

Notice I said "almost never" i know they have done some in the past but it is still a rarity. You could also list the number of madhouse series that got second seasons but were done by different studios (irregular magic high school and one punch man as recent examples.)
