Also it’s worth noting that Ahiru no sora took yu-gi-oh Vrains’ airing block so that means with no info of time slot change, Vrains will be the shortest yugioh season thus far that will end on September with no more than 120 episodes

Assuming this show doesn't take any breaks in between cours, if it's going to be four cours long during Yugioh's timeslot this whole time it airs, does that mean we won't get Yugioh 7 until next fall? That's going to be a long wait without any new Yugioh content. But I guess if they split it after the second cour like what a lot of four cour shows seem to do these days, maybe it can still start airing in spring?

more importantly, can we get a GOOD Yugioh please? I can't believe awful it has gotten since 5D's. I mean VRAINS is better than Zexal but that's not saying much..

It doesn't help that Vrains was delayed about a month or more in the beginning too. I've been ready for it to end anyway.
As for the main topic, I hope this series will be worth diving into if it's this long. It's been a while since I watched a long sports series.

Do you have a reputable link that backs up the claim of VRAINS being only 120 epi.?

No link yet I can think of, but I assume it's based on the timeslot when it's airing.

Knowing how long the manga has been running, I'm glad the anime will have a whole year to cover a lot of material. I was afraid they were going to compress a lot of stuff into two cours.

You know what, I'll give this one a shot. I've never really watched any sports anime before, or at least a long-running one. By the time I get interested, I either get scared by the length or I'm not hooked by what I hear about it. But I'll give it a try this time. The premise sounds neat and I like the voice cast. Or maybe it's just because The Pillows are doing the OP.

We don't know what the plan is for the 7th series. I'd say just see what happens at Jump Festa this December. It's crazy the VRAINS is over soon as the show started a month late, and is ending early too! This show will hold the record of the shortest series at 120 episodes compared to past entries. The average series post Duel Monsters & GX mostly stayed in the 140ish count. VRAINS will end at 120 which is less than that.

@Cardcaptor Takato: The VRAINS animation staff wrapping production could mean the series ends in a few weeks to even 6 months from now!
