Yeah, I'm interested to see how the Transformers will look onscreen and how they interact with the live-human actors. I'm not so much intrigued, but just curious. Not optimistic/pessimistic. But I'll go into it with an open mind.
Plus, Shia LeBoeuf (sp?) is starring in it. I'm not exactly sure how that'll turn out if he's the main (human) character. He wasn't too bad in his minor role in I, Robot. So who knows? |

Also I am wondering how they threw the car, I know the engine was removed, but still it just whipped out of there. Hey GATSU, what do you think about Bay's slow motion acting direction

That was the worst clip ever! Two shots of the movie poster surrounding a 4 minute clip of a guy laying on a car?
I would have preferred that they at least show us what the finished product of that scene looked like so that there was some "payoff" for having to sit here watching Michael Bay tell the guy, "put your legs here, don't move them side to side!" So far, there isn't enough there to tempt me to go see the film. Of course, I don't think it is getting released until next year, so there's plenty of time to build the hype, I guess. |

That was 4 minutes of my life gone down the drain. It was just the Disney kid from Holes sitting on a car talking to a crane, and then moving some girl out of the way of a car that wasn't going to hit her. Hell, I do that for fun all the time. I named my pet crane Steve.
But, I am pretty interested as to how the Transformers will look. I can't wait to see Optimus Prime and Megatron. I wonder if they'll have that little bird Gazerbeak, too. I'm pretty psched about the movie. Judging from the preview in Pirates of the Caribbean II, it'll be pretty corny, which means that it will be funny, which means that I'm in for a good laugh when I see it. |

I can't believe the guy who was lying down on the car was scared while a scene was being filmed. I bet he was scared because he thought that the machine will crush him to death. But it didn't. It just crushed the car then the man ran from it according to what Micheal Bay wanted his actor to do. Run from the machine when it crushes the car.
Anyways, I wonder what Megatron will look like in that movie. |

It's a character announcement, not a cast announcement.
Autobots: Optimus Prime (trailer truck) Bumblebee (Camaro) Jazz Ratchet Ironhide Decepticons: Megatron Starscream (jet) Frenzy (radio) Brawl (tank?) Blackout Bonecrusher (military vehicle?) Barricade (police car) Scorponok (robot scorpion) Kinda skimpy on the Autobot side, but good overall. I think more than anything people were happy to hear that Devastator wasn't in the movie (as a tank) and Brawl wasn't the police car. Emerje |

Ouch! Ouch! and Ouch! Anyways i'm anxious to see what Prime and the boys would actually look like on the silver screen. The teasers are just that..teasers. back in the 80's as a kid i was hooked on the G1 series,yeah i wouldhave prefered a GI Joe live action movie over this, but since it aint gonna happen,The Trannies will do just fine and i'm sure that Bay's adaptation will be a success or at least break even.(Box office wise) |

So... actually seeing one of the Transformers earthbound forms (construction vehicle), and the car that Shia (aka Spike) was laying on was flipped like a cardboard box wasn't good enough for you? Not to mention that may very well have been Bumblebee sitting there? Sure, 3/4 of the clip was useless. But it's that last 1/4 that made it all worth it.
