It means "table" in Latin. Which is why Mensa selected it.

I lived 7 years in Chile and 'table' was always 'mesa'. Which country used 'mensa'?

I don't know anything about Non Non Biyori but the fact it's Renge's voice actor getting in Mensa seems perfect. Like, when I saw this news article, my first thought was "I hope it's the voice actor for the purple chick".

this is pretty awesome. She's such a great seiyuu, singer, and seems like a really good person as a whole. Add super smart to that, I guess lol. Awesome.
