Judging from the PV, I guess it is safe to say we should not expect the same or even close animation quality from the first season, if Yukon Production’s Twitter is any indication, since they only have completed 2 episodes so far, it will be a production disaster in the making.

The visuals look better than I anticipated. I hope the visuals for season 2 are strong because that is pretty much the only thing that will motivate me to watch it.

Welp, garbage-tier production confirmed. Won't be watching.

It's still too early to judge, but yeah, now that we can finally see the characters in motion, it's not looking promising. Also, the first 50 seconds of the trailer felt really awkward, as if parts of the trailer itself were missing so they just added black screens. Definitely not a good sign.

Yeah, One Punch Man is a one and done. This completes the list for most disappointing follow up anime of the 2010s along with Attack On Titan, Dragon Ball, Berserk etc.

It looks 1000 times better then any of the ugly 3d cg anime Netflix pumps out. still, this is one punch man. With how good the last season looked, theres a lot to live up to.

Attack on Titan has consistently high production values though, false equivalency?

On the hand, the fact that we don't see much action and it's constantly faded to black is not a good sign here. On the other, what we do get to see looks not bad at all. I think we should wait until the first episode drops before rendering a verdict on J.C, Staff's competence here.

Someone clearly hasn't watch Attack On Titan or Super's later half then.

As someone who isn't even a fan of attack on titan, I can say from the good handful of scenes I've had people share with me from the new seasons, there's some really nice production involved with the series.

I'll lower my expectations to lessen the disappointment if it does have bad quality throughout. Still hoping for a decent quality, I mean we've only seen the trailers. Season 1's trailers didn't exactly showcase the animation quality either.
