Huh! It would pretty cool if this started becoming a regular thing for drama CDs, but it’s probably unlikely. This is neat though since this is the only pice of the Kono Danshi series I’m missing.

I think it's probably likely! There are a lot of series that have drama CDs as the source material - the most popular are probably the music series Hypnosis Mic and Tsukipro - so it's about time the West caught on.

Now all we need is a setup for stage plays.

The animatic thing is interesting, but not necessarily necessary? There are still drama CDs/ radio dramas in the West in some places. The BBC still does them, and Amazon recently made X Files ones that, I think, were meant as a sort of conclusion episode? I don't know, I'm not into X Files.

Just as a note, back in ~2008, Bandai's LE releases of the first season of Code Geass included both dubbed drama CDs and dubbed "picture dramas" (which are, essentially, what they're making these into, except the Geass ones were made that way originally). The drama CDs are amazing, and actually add a lot to the characterization, that it's really not the full story without them. Sadly, those weren't included on FUNi's release, and the second season's drama CDs never got dubbed. I don't know of any other dubbed drama CD releases, but if anyone else does, please share~

Anyway... it would be nice if they'd do this for Tsukiuta, too, especially since that's going to get really popular, with the 4th season of drama CDs (3rd season for the girls) and the 2nd season of the anime coming next year...

What a pleasant surprise! Never thought I'd see a drama CD get released here, let alone English dubbed. I'll definitely buy just to show my support.
