How embarrassing... I hope those old folks are healed soon.

There's an Itasha car that drives around the Dallas, TX area that also has You on it...

The man then drove away. Police were able to locate the suspect quickly given the unique appearance of the car.

*facepalm* What a baka. Deserved to get caught.

Another explanation would be that he was so inattentive he didn't realize he had hit her. The article notes she suffered a broken wrist, which likely happened in a fall after the collision.

Either way, justice was served thanks to the vehicle being so easy to identify.

When will this discrimination against Yō Watanabe end?

People repeatedly spraying her in the face with paint (out of jealousy no doubt), and now she got these false accusations against her. It's not her fault the elderly tries to raise their arms in celebration when she runs past them, just for them to loose grip of their walker gears and come crashing down (breaking their right wrists in the process). Instead of facing reality of old age they curse this poor youngling, as if Yō-chan could prevent herself from causing this amount of genki in everyone for the brief moment she passes... The struggles of an idol, the documentary.
