I don't watch Yuri but I feel as if the genre is not being taken seriously its looks more like cute girls doing Yuri stuff to me and in a way I find it insulting.

I know which good wholesome Yuri show I am going to be watching this spring though it is unfortunate that the show will only be a short anime.

Oh I am sorry I meant not taken seriously sorry for the horrible english guess staying up all night is not good for me lol,whatever I just suck at English in general ha.What I am trying to say is the people who makes the book or the anime don't seem to to take the Yuri genre seriously they all look like CGDCT with the Yuri undertones crank up and that's what I find insulting.Sorry,maybe its just me who feels this way. |

Your viewpoint is as valid as anyone else's, but why is CGDCT crossed with yuri insulting? Have you read any of the manga or given the anime a chance? You can say it doesn't sound like something you'd like without sampling it, but insulting? If you don't like yuri as a genre or only like yuri with heavy dramatic tones, fine. But to call a cute yuri story insulting is going too far. |

While I can't deny that this show is destined to be a short anime, I haven't found any confirmation that says it will be short. I'm hoping it will have 24 minute episodes (the manga chapter's are around 33 pages each, so there is enough content to make full length episodes). I also it will be two cour. |

I tend to find yuri in CGDCT-type series to be not taken seriously, and find it somewhat frustrating also. However, that's not 'seriously' in the sense of 'dark and serious storyline', but 'serious' in the sense of 'a girl's romantic interest in another girl is taken to be a real thing and not solely a joke, even if it has jokes involved'. It's also frustrating since if it's a CGDCT series, then obviously watching girls that are happily together is cuter.
